Yamaha YZ description

I am selling my mint Yz 250f with 64 hours and lots of extras and add ons. Maintance: changed oil every other ride with oil filter. Cleaned air filter after every ride like it should. Just regresed head and linkage bearings (done twice a year). Tires are decent along with chain and sprockets.Add ons: full yoshiumra rd-4 stainless (comes with stock pipe also)Tokyo mods wet sump deleate kit. All stock parts come with it including plastic, seat cover, chain, sprocket, wet sump kit and more...Suspention: here's the scope on this bike. Me and the owner of pdr performance have been working and building this suspention for over a year now to perfection (10 hours on bike). We had full race tech gold valves and springs with a custom shim dual stack that litteraly you could not feel a single bump no matter how hard or square edged it was. It was perfect! The suspention has been torn apart at least six times changing it and making it better. We now just took it all out to put the stock stuff in so it was just rebuiltIf you want the gold valves it will be $300 and lighter springs add on $100. We can set it back up the way if you want also. When I put the delete kit in, I looked through the clutch and it was perfect! ten hours ago I put new rings in it at 30 hours. Piston looked new.Checked valves three times now and has been the same every time. I do my own powder coating and just redid a lot of the worn parts so it looks brand new again and can do whatever you want alsoYes it was raced... In c class because I am not a great rider but was maintained like a factory bike! Was gonna ride it next year but came across some extra unexpected money from selling my sled and buying a 2014Call or text anytime

Yamaha Unveils 2012 MotoGP Livery – Massive Gallery and Video

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Yamaha has pulled the covers off the 2012 edition of its YZR-M1, the machines which racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies will ride to compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. While last year’s M1 was predominantly blue, the new 1000cc version of the M1 sports more white paint with wide bands of Yamaha blue on the front fairing and along the side, flowing along the line of the seat. Like most MotoGP squads, Yamaha doesn’t want to be too specific about its MotoGP bike’s potential, estimating the power output from the crossplane crankshaft engine at over 240 hp.

Yamaha Files Trademark Application for FJ-09

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Yamaha‘s next three-cylinder motorcycle may be a sport-tourer, if a recently-filed trademark application is any indication. The Tuning Fork brand filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the name “FJ-09” as it applies to “Motorcycles, scooters, three-wheeled scooters and structural parts for all the aforesaid goods.” Following Yamaha’s usual naming conventions, the signs indicate the trademark will be for a new sport-touring model using the same Triple as the FZ-09. Yamaha has made it clear it plans to introduce more three-cylinder engines following the FZ-09 (or MT-09, as it is known in Europe.) Previously-filed trademark applications for the YZF-R3 and R3 names raised speculation the next triple would be a sportbike, but as per Yamaha’s usual naming convention, the “3″ in R3 is likelier to refer to the engine displacement rather than the number of cylinders.

Rossi 'training' at his MotoRanch

Mon, 30 Jan 2012

Like Kenny Roberts, Valentino Rossi has got his own ranch where he has built his own private motocross track and dirt oval. The above YouTube video shows Rossi training on the flat-track circuit that makes up his 'MotoRanch' located near his home town of Tavullia. He's shown riding a Yamaha, but that's probably because Ducati don't have themselves a scrambler.
