Up for auction is my 2011 yz450fa. I purchased it new in 2012. Adult owned, and in great condition. I had a back injury on an ATV in 2010, and decided to switch to a bike. I absolutely love to ride it, but have realized it is too much for me, and I hate to see it sit. I have never raced it. It's only been in the dunes a few times, and otherwise ridden in trails. Time meter only has 15.4 hours. This is a fuel injected bike. Bid with confidence. Comes with hand gaurds and engine rock deflector. I will deliver within 50 miles of 49107, otherwise local pick up only. Only if buy it now is met, I will include a Big Gun slip on exhaust, complete rear wheel assembly with Sand Snake paddle tire (only used twice), chain used in sand, and bike stand. Before you read any farther, here’s the bad news. First, it does not appear as though either the R1 or the R6 received any other updates for 2014.

Fri, 13 Jul 2012Remember that video on YouTube about the rider going 185 mph on a highway in Canada? The video went viral and eventually led to the seizure of a Yamaha R1 and $1,449 (Canadian) in traffic tickets issued to its owner. In April, police in Saanich, British Columbia believed they had enough evidence to seize the R1 and issued tickets to the registered owner for speeding, operating without due care and attention, and operating without insurance.
Spies Second at Sepang Test Day Two; Lorenzo Third
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies led for most to the second day of MotoGP testing at Sepang before settling for the second best lap the time sheets behind defending World Champion Casey Stoner. Spies rode 37 laps and recorded a time of 2:01.052, which stood as the fastest lap in the morning session. That time was surpassed later in the afternoon by Repsol Honda rider Stoner by 0.157 seconds.
