Up for auction is my 2009 Yamaha YZ450F. Adult ridden and maintained. I has about 30 hours on it. Front and Rear suspension has be revalved by PR suspensions($700).It is set up for 180lb rider. It has shorty levers and a gripper seat. Also come with Yamaha shop manual. It runs and rides great. It only need a rider. I am selling at a NO RESERVE auction due to arrival of new baby. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.
Yamaha to Open Plant in Pakistan
Thu, 04 Aug 2011Yamaha is reportedly planning to open a new manufacturing facility in Pakistan. According to the Associated Press of Pakistan, Yamaha would invest $150 million in the new 50 acre facility, to be located in Karachi, Pakistan’s main seaport and financial hub. The plant would produce motorcycles for the Pakistani market, as well as models to be exported to other Commonwealth of Independent States nations.
46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
