Yamaha YZ description
I'm looking to either sell my 250 F outright or trade for a 125 two stroke. This bike is in fantastic shape with many costly upgrades so any trade must be worth similar amount or will have to add cash. This bike needs absolutely nothing and the only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I am a two stroke guy and I thought I would try a 4 stroke. I just prefer a two stroke. This bike has a rebuilt motor that runs perfectly with about five hours on it. Has Pro Taper Accu-Trax offset triple clamps and bars, red anodized rims with gold anodized billet hubs, anodized fork tubes and shock, Feal revalved suspension, new plastics and graphics, chain and sprockets are near brand new and tires have three rides on them. I would be interested in a trade for an aluminum framed YZ125, a KTM 125 or 150, or a RM125. Trades don't have to be perfect, but will require cash on top if not as nice as mine. $2500/offer/trade. AIMExpo Celebrates Its 300th Vendor

Cyril Despres Signs with Yamaha
Thu, 30 May 2013Five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres has signed on with Yamaha Motor France to race on the Yamaha YZ450F. Despres won the Dakar Rally in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013 with KTM but parted ways with the Austrian manufacturer in March. For 2014, Despres is trading in KTM Orange for Yamaha Blue, riding with support rider and fellow Frenchman Michael Metge.

Thu, 10 Sep 2009You’ll realize how cheesy that headline is after watching the pretty rad video that Yamaha has released. Yamaha’s new motocross bike has taken a radical new approach. The engine is backwards. Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive. Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.
