This is a total restoration of a 2006 Anniversary model. This is the European color scheme. The bike is loaded with billet parts and Carbon fiber. It has a new silencer as well as new tires and new wheels- black rims, red hubs. The brake rotors are new as are the pads and pins. The rear shock was completely rebuilt-seals ,oil and new bumper..The bike was serviced and race readied by my local Yamaha Dealer. Everything is fresh and new and ready togo This is a relist and I am blown away that it hasn't sold. This is not the usual armorall covered fooler that requires big bucks to be a 10.If you want a museum quality bike this is it.
.Call 803-447-2590.If you would like a list of all the upgrades, then call. I know people don't like the phone but humor an old guy and call. Yamaha to Produce PES1 and PED1 Electric Motorcycles by 2016

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Yamaha announced plans to release the production versions of its PES1 and PED1 concept models within two years as part of the company’s plans to enter the electric motorcycle segment. The PES1 and PED1 (which stands for “Passion, Electric, Street” and “Passion, Electric, Dirt”) concepts were first revealed at last November’s Tokyo Motor Show. In the company’s newly-published annual report, Yamaha confirmed plans to produce the two models, saying: “In sports motorcycles, we are working to create new value with EV sports motorcycles, which we aim to launch in two years, with the development of the small, on-road sports PES1, as well as the PED1, which are being developed to expand the scope of electric vehicles to the off-road world.

Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2

Thu, 01 May 2014

In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike.  The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.
