Lots of Upgrades. Bike has sat unridden since 2012. Many upgrades done since then just not ridden due to work and health issues. 2 spare front tires (one new), and spare rear paddle tire. Original and aftermarket plastics included- see pictures. This bike is nice and light, fun to ride. Factory spec weight on this is only ~213lbs dry. Police Catch Up with Motorcycle Doing 185 mph in YouTube Video
Fri, 20 Apr 2012Authorities in British Columbia, Canada, have impounded a 2006 Yamaha R1 believed to have starred in a YouTube video reaching speeds of 299 kph (185 mph) on a freeway. The onboard video, embedded after the jump, captures the Yamaha weaving through traffic, and often lane-splitting between other vehicles, covering a 4.67 mile stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway in about a minute and 56 seconds. That translates to an average speed of 144.6 mph.

Mon, 06 Jan 2014KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

Turpin is an experienced AMA rider and raced as a wildcard at this year’s World Superbike event at Miller Motorsports Park on board a Boulder Motor Sports prepared 1198RS.
