For sale is my 2001 Yamaha yz125. The bike's top end has been rebuilt and only has about two hours on it. Replaced piston, rings, etc. Also rebuilt the carburetor, and rebuilt the clutch- new plates, springs, spring screws. bike has always been warmed up before riding, and maintenance always taken care of. Mixed 32:1 oil ratio with amsoil dominator. put on a pro circuit exhaust and pipe, carb is jetted perfectly. Selling because I have a totalled car in the shop and need to get it fixed. rest assured the bike was always taken care of. Put new tires on front and back in the beginning of summer, only three track rides on them. Renthal bars, new clutch lever and perch, gold chain, sprockets in attractive condition. But the Rizoma ProGuard system has helped secure the levers of Toni Elias on his road to championship success in the inaugural Moto2 season. The example above was on an attractive Rizoma-enhanced BMW S1000RR, but the lever guards are not limited to sports bikes, they were also visible on Yamaha's FZ8. The patented design can tilt up to 10 degrees providing full lever coverage and can be added by simply replacing the bike's existing bar-ends.
2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Announced for Canada
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon. Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.

Tue, 24 Nov 2009NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.
