Up for auction is a 1981 Yamaha yz465 I bought this bike 2 months ago with the intension of restoring it but plans have change. The bike is pretty much complete it does not run this is the way I bought the bike and I never did anything with it. I have some parts that go with it they are pictured. I have a Manual, wheel bearings, empty wiseco piston box and small misc parts. The owner before me bought a plastic kit for it, and its supposed to have a new piston in the motor I cant confirm but the box is there and it has very good compression. The rims are straight and the forks have no pitting on the chrome overall the bike is in decent shape for its age. There is no title for this bike. Lovely new R1 cans from Harris
Thu, 30 Sep 2010Harris Performance has just unveiled their new slip-on silencers and carbon composite heat shield for the 2009/10 Yamaha R1. Made to the usual Harris standards the cans are created from stainless steel and titanium. The silencers have fully removable baffles helping your R1 to breathe more easily and produce a fruity exhaust note.

Here we have new photographs of Yamaha’s “SUV motorcycle” from the show floor of the Tokyo Motor Show courtesy of Colum Wood, editor of our sister site Autoguide.com, who was in attendance. Yamaha describes the XTW250 RYOKU concept as an “unrestricted, anytime, anywhere” mobility vehicle offering performance, operability the capacity to carry heavy loads.

Described as the “SUV motorcycle”, the Yamaha XTW250 RYOKU was designed to carry heavy loads for both on and off the road. The concept’s name suggests it may share elements of Yamaha’s XT250 and TW200 dual sports.
