Up for auction is a 1979 Yamaha YZ400 It will need restored It does not run. There is no piston and cylinder has a small scratch  the rod bearing feels good.  It will need a carburetor, also a rear brake stay and rod, cables and misc. hardware. The forks are good and there is no pitting in chrome.  These old big bores are getting hard to find. Please no bidders with  0 feedback. If you have any questions call 412-335-3415. Ryan Villopoto captured his series-leading fourth win of the season in a red-flagged main event before a record crowd of 60,178 at St. Louis’ Edwards Jones Dome, as the 2013 AMA Supercross season reaches its midway point. The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.

Hayes to Race in Valencia GP for Injured Colin Edwards

Josh Hayes will make his MotoGP racing debut at the Nov. 6 Valencia Grand Prix in Spain as an injury replacement for fellow American Colin Edwards. Already set to test the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 M1 after the season-ending race, Hayes was a logical choice to ride in Edwards’ place.

When I first started racing about a thousand years ago, my local stomping ground was a place called Three Sisters near Wigan.  It wasn’t glamorous but it was brilliant. An hour from home and with about a million corners crammed into just a km of tarmac. The Three Sisters was a reference to the three coal slag heaps that had once occupied the site before.
