    1985 Yamaha XT350 I am selling an 1985 Yamaha XT350. The bike runs, but not well in the top end, which is most likely the top end carb and the fact that I have air filters on that are not very restrictive (no original airbox). It has new front brake pads, new rear brake shoes, a rebuilt front caliper, extremely clean carburetors, and new front shock oil/dust seals.

    Nice bike rode it today runs good,could use a few parts,but a really nice start. these bikes are rare and hard to find so gfood luck,the guy I bought it from told me milage was about 28000miles nice honest guy so I took his word but u never know  it runs like the miles purported.newer tires nice chain and sprockets.all lights work but needs a brake lite switch rear)  choke cable as well.

    Up for sale is my trusty xt 225.   I live in Wisconsin so I never ride it.  Its either winter, raining, or no time.  So it has a whooping 4500 miles on it over 20 years of life.  I bought it in 2011 and ride it about 200 miles a year, so time to sell it.  I dropped it once in my garage and dented the tank.  Then I had it in the back of my truck and dropped it and bent the bars.  Then last fall, I was goofing off on some sand on the road and laid it down dented the left side further as seen in photos.  The left mirror came off in the back of the truck when I dropped it in the bed of my flatbed.  So, its a little beat up but not from hammering it on the trails.   Anyhow, it has a new back tire, new luggage rack and runs like a top.  But, it has been 3 years since the carb has been worked on so it needs some adjustment as it leaks out the overflow of the carb when the tank is full and the bike is parked if the fuel cock is not turned off.  $1500 is firm and it ships from 54601.   email me through ebay if you need to talk to me.     I’ve had this motorcycle since around 2004 but as you can tell by the mileage, don’t use it a whole lot each year. it usually just stays in the garage and only every once in a while i take it out for a spin.  Now with a three year old I have even less of an opportunity to use it so it makes sense to make it available for someone else to enjoy. I’ve got a motorcycle helmet and Haynes manual that can go with the bike.  This is a great on and off road motorcycle that is very nimble and can maneuver like a mountain bike through trails while having enough juice to run at highway speeds.

The lavender sky over Bryce faded as we continued westward on Hwy 12. Refusing to pack a second visor for my Shoei Hornet X2, I lifted the dark smoke shield as I led our crew into the dark dense forest, keeping my line of sight just above the Ténéré’s windscreen in an attempt to protect my peepers from the onslaught of kamikaze insects.

Yes, the MT-07 did get dethroned in last year’s Middleweight Naked comparison, but not by much – and it took brand-new motorcycles from Aprilia and Triumph to do it. When it came time for the 900cc(ish) Nakeds last August, the newly revamped MT-09 surprised a couple people by taking the cake against KTM Duke 890 and five other very nice and mostly more expensive motorcycles.

FIM approves track-only YZF1000W model A recently updated list of FIM-approved competition vehicles indicates that a new track-only Yamaha YZF-R1 is on the way for the 2023 model year. And if this is true, then we may also expect a significantly updated street legal 2023 R1 too. The International Motorcycling Federation maintains a spreadsheet titled “FIM Recognized Competition Vehicles” that includes approved racing-only models.

The sportiest Sport Heritage Credit: Photos by Adam Campbell | Videos by Sean Matic Some of us were a bit surprised when Yamaha’s newly overhauled 2021 MT-09 snagged first place in last summer’s 900cc(ish) Naked Bike Comparison, against such more-expensive heavy hitters as the new Ducati Monster and KTM Duke 890. And all of us were a little surprised when the XSR900 defeated Indian FTRs 1200 and 1200S, and the now-defunct Monster 1200S, in an only slightly unfair 2019 comparo. (Slightly unfair because our test route was really nothing but tight, twisty roads.) Now, the 2022 XSR900 is newly overhauled just as last year’s MT-09 was, using all the same parts from the waist down, including the new super-sized 890 cc version of that most excellent CP3 three-cylinder and all its electronic controls.

2022 Yamaha NEO's, E01 Electric Scooter Details Released

Swappable batteries help extend range, but only to a point Following the initial announcement of its electric mobility strategy, Yamaha has released full specifications for the NEO’s scooter and confirmed proof-of-concept testing of the larger E01 model will commence in July. Yamaha has described the NEO’s as providing performance on par with a 50cc gasoline-powered scooter. We now know the NEO’s offers a claimed peak output of 3.4 hp, with a nominal power output of 3.1 hp.

Details for electric NEO's to come in the weeks ahead Yamaha Motor Europe outlined its plans for electric two-wheelers, revealing a range of scooters, bicycles and a moped. The announcement confirmed our report last week that it would include an electric scooter called the “NEO’s”, but the 50cc-equivalent model was only scratching the surface. The presentation provided a general outline of Yamaha’s approach to electrification, though it did leave us wanting more.

2022 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid Announced for Europe

No word yet on US availability Yamaha Motor Europe announced the production version of the 2022 Ténéré 700 World Raid, a new Ténéré variant with a larger fuel tank and longer travel suspension. It joins Yamaha’s European lineup alongside the regular Ténéré 700, plus a Rally Edition version which we don’t get in the U.S. We first saw the World Raid at EICMA as a prototype equipped with a number of Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) performance parts.
