Up for sale is my very nice 80 xt500, this is a low mileage bike at only 5,074 miles,all original down to the factory mirror,bike is not new, it does have a couple scratches and a couple of dings in the tank(I have a perfect tank if you want to purchase it separately)I have had 2 knee surgeries and I am getting older than I think I am LOL so it is getting harder to kick these big thumpers over for me,and I just don't ride it any more. The bike speaks for itself,I will hold for 2 weeks,after that it is $20 a day inside secure storage,as in the past people have left bikes in my garage way too long,sorry but that is the way it is.I will accept bank checks,cash or personal checks,but the bike does not leave my garage till payment is cleared,more trouble with other buyers in the past.I have put a tt500 carb on as the original xt's have the accelerator pump type and the tt's are way simplier.It had a issue with the key switch,so I have installed a new one and the old one does go with the bike,just in case someone wants it.A $500 deposit with paypal in 24 hours of the bike selling,as is no warrantys,don't bid if you aren't gonna buy it.bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Up for sale is my trusty xt 225. I live in Wisconsin so I never ride it. Its either winter, raining, or no time. So it has a whooping 4500 miles on it over 20 years of life. I bought it in 2011 and ride it about 200 miles a year, so time to sell it. I dropped it once in my garage and dented the tank. Then I had it in the back of my truck and dropped it and bent the bars. Then last fall, I was goofing off on some sand on the road and laid it down dented the left side further as seen in photos. The left mirror came off in the back of the truck when I dropped it in the bed of my flatbed. So, its a little beat up but not from hammering it on the trails. Anyhow, it has a new back tire, new luggage rack and runs like a top. But, it has been 3 years since the carb has been worked on so it needs some adjustment as it leaks out the overflow of the carb when the tank is full and the bike is parked if the fuel cock is not turned off. $1500 is firm and it ships from 54601. email me through ebay if you need to talk to me. Mon, 17 Jan 2022No R6 replacement for the near future Last month, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) provided the first look at the new “ Supersport Next Generation” models that will redefine middleweight racing class. Starting with the 2022 season, the World Supersport class (and their equivalents in various national racing series such as MotoAmerica) will add new models such as the Ducati Panigale V2, MV Agusta F3 800, MV Agusta F3 Superveloce, Triumph Street Triple RS, Suzuki GSX-R750, and the 636cc Kawasaki ZX-6R. The primarily 600cc models that previously represented the class will continue for one more season, before the Supersport Next Generation models take over completely in 2023.

Keeping it simple and keeping the weight down was a great recipe for success, and now Yamaha is fixin’ to take it to the next level with a Ténéré 700 Raid, for which this machine it showed at EICMA serves as prototype. Yamaha Announces MT-10 And MT-10 SP For 2022
Mon, 22 Nov 2021This news should come as a surprise to nobody, but it’s still equally as exciting to finally get the official confirmation: Yamaha is bringing an updated MT-10 to the US. Maybe more exciting is the announcement that Yamaha is also bringing an MT-10 SP here as well. We reported earlier this month that a new MT-10 was coming, but at the time, the report was only confirmed for Europe.

Tue, 09 Nov 2021Fast Facts More mid-range torque New intake and exhaust Six-axis IMU Updated ergonomics Refreshed styling, updated engine and six-axis IMU Yamaha Motor Europe announced a redesigned MT-10 for 2022, updating the engine to meet Euro 5 and adding a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit. As of this writing, the 2022 MT-10 has not been confirmed for the U.S., but we expect that will happen soon. Visually, Yamaha gave the MT-10 a styling refresh, giving it a new, less-angular face.

That includes an 889cc inline Triple and new Deltabox-style frame. As of this writing, the new 2022 Yamaha XSR900 has not been announced for the U.S., but we expect to get news on that front soon.
