Greater lateral and torsional rigidity and reduced weight of the lower frame parts help produce light, stable handling.The front fork has 8.9 inches of travel to soak up the rough stuff, both on-road and off. An aluminum lower triple clamp keeps the weight down.Maximum turning angle of the handlebar is 51 degrees almost like a trials machine. Combined with a short wheelbase of only 53.5 inches, the XT250 has a super-tight turning radius for excellent maneuverability.

2012 Yamaha TMax Announced for Canada
Mon, 12 Dec 2011Yamaha announced it is importing the newly updated for 2012 TMax maxi-scooter to Canada. First unveiled at the 2011 EICMA show, the 2012 Yamaha TMax received a sportier facelift and an updated 530cc engine Yamaha claims is lighter, more efficient and offers more torque at low- and mid-rpms compared to the 499cc engine found on the 2011 model. Yamaha claims the updated TMax can get up to 53 mpg, compared to the previous model’s 47 mpg claims.
2022 Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid Announced for Europe
Tue, 15 Feb 2022No word yet on US availability Yamaha Motor Europe announced the production version of the 2022 Ténéré 700 World Raid, a new Ténéré variant with a larger fuel tank and longer travel suspension. It joins Yamaha’s European lineup alongside the regular Ténéré 700, plus a Rally Edition version which we don’t get in the U.S. We first saw the World Raid at EICMA as a prototype equipped with a number of Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) performance parts.
