Yamaha XT description

Starts right up and runs great. Brand new tires, tubes, battery, voltage regulator, and oil. The whole wiring harness has been redone with new connectors. Bike is pretty rough cosmetically and is currently wired to work without a key, but rides great. I have the title.

Sometimes it's hard to shift up into second gear from first but this gets better after the bike warms up. Additionally the tach is currently not hooked up and the glass for the gauge is cracked, but all parts to hook it back up are included in the auction.

Auction includes some plastics that aren't currently on the bike, a little OEM tool bag that bolts on behind the seat, a spare set of front and rear rims, a new off road front tire, and a service manual. The rear rim has a dirt tire mounted on it with plenty of tread left and holds air fine.

Ask me any questions you've got! Happy bidding!

Relisted because of a non paying buyer.

After a full day of riding at Sonoma Raceway, we learn how the YZF-R9 fits into the rest of Yamaha's R family. Read the full story here.

Recreate Rossi’s Corkscrew Pass on Stoner at Laguna Seca with Paper

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

Valentino Rossi‘s career is full of many incredible moments but few are as indelible as the move he made to pass Casey Stoner on the 23rd lap of the 2008 U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca. The controversial cut through the famous Corkscrew was arguably the most dramatic moment of the 2008 MotoGP season (and ironically, recreated this year, with Marc Marquez turning the tables on Rossi).

You want a nice little car, you do.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.
