Up For sale is a very nice 1976 early XT500 It has some patina as any 1976 motorcycle would be expected to have. Starts, stops and drives great, new tires, just serviced with new rings installed before it came to us. Some wear and small ding on right side of tank as seen. Low miles, matching numbers rare 76, don't get much better for a chance to own part of motorcycling history. Perfect for restoration or ride as is, very rare factory exhaust still intact. We where going to restore it, but due to our hectic scheduling we will not have the time, we will offer the new buyer a %15 discount on all parts if they choose to restore it. Clear open title comes with the bike. 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results
Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study
