1970 Yamaha XS1 motorcycle. Offered as found after years of dry storage. Frame and engine numbers match. Clear title in my name. Steering stop has been modified. See images. Left hand front peg mount has damage. See images. I am including an extra untitled frame with the sale that the buyer can remove the steering stop and peg mount from to use on the restoration. Tank is dented and rusty on the interior. Original chain guard, Solex carbs, and headlight ring assembly are included with the sale. Pictures will be uploaded Monday. I have blurred out 2 of the Vehicle Identification Numbers in the images. Please send a message if you have any questions. I can take more pictures and provide additional info. Yamaha Motor USA to Swallow Up Yamaha Canada
Fri, 30 Sep 2011Yamaha’s board of directors has voted in transfer all shares of its Canadian subsidiary to its American subsidiary, a move which would give Yamaha Motor U.S.A. responsibility over the entire North American market. The proposed transfer, set to begin in December, will make Yamaha Motor Canada a subsidiary of its American counterpart.

One wish still unrealized: the U.S. dealers won’t be getting the up-spec World Raid and numerous other versions of the T7 the EU enjoys - at least not this year.

Tue, 28 Sep 2010There is no question that the BSB paddock has been split over the radical new points scoring system introduced for 2010. That said, no one can argue that the formula hasn't worked as we are in for the most exciting season end at the Oulton Park triple header on the 9th/10th of October. There may only be six riders in the final shoot out but there are at least another six that can win races, ultimately spoiling the party for the championship hopefuls.
