I have for sale my 1981 Yamaha XS650. Its done in a bobber style and in my opinion one of the best looking japanese chops. The build is about 3 years old,has a Voodoo vintage hardtail and the rest of the frame is painted a semigloss black. The rear wheel is a 18'' honda with drum sporting a 4.00-18 Avon the front is a 21'' with a 3.00-21 Avon in between cleaned up and polished front forks. Black vinyl Biltwell seat and p-pad. K/N filters and aftermarket pipes top off the engine and sounds amazing. Sporty tank and the rear fender have a slick green/blueish GM pearl that looks great. Brand new battery and tons of other aftermarket parts. The bike is a kickstart only but the auction includes another lower mile motor with starter. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
