Yamaha XS tech info
Yamaha XS description
Selling my 1981 xs650 chopper. This has been a side project of mine for the past few years. Bike is all custom built. Hard tailed frame 2" stretch and drop. All built and welding in a frame jig. Tank is one off hand shaped and molded to the frame. Sissy bar is one off twisted steel. Hand made battery and electronics box wrapped in white pleated vinyl. Seat is all hand made and wrapped in white and gold zodiac tuck n roll vinyl. Tc Bros forward controls. Rebuilt 1973xs engine. Also have the original motor too. Starts up and runs great. Carbs are all rebuilt and the tank is lined. Full custom panel paint job over the entire bike. Painted with ppg shop line white and a mix of house of kolor candy golds for the panels. 18" rear whee and 23" front spool wheel. Almost all the hardware is chrome or stainless. Custom made exhaust that is currently just bare metal. Tips are chrome. Has a brand new clutch that needs to be adjusted. Carbs need to be dialed in. May need a new battery. There are charging leads in the front of the electronics box so you don't need to take the seat off to charge it. Bike is 99% done. Just needs a few finishing touches to be fully rideable. Clean Massachusetts title. I have a LOT of work into this bike. I hate to see it go but I need to money for other projects and want to focus on my cars right now. Any questions please ask.
