Yamaha XS description

1980 XS 650. Actual mileage unknown, forks are good, rear swing-arm joint not loose, mufflers are pretty quiet, good compression in both cylinders. Not beat.
Runs well. Elec and Kick start.
New Brakes and SS front line.
New Battery, charger included..
New(er) trials tires (just for looks, doh! rear diameter is a little too small, was going to switch to Bridgestone TW40).
Custom suede seat.
Dirtbike bars
Needs front lever brake-light switch, brake-light works on rear only presently.
There are no turn signals and I don't have any.
Will include vintage Rickman style fiberglass body with seat, pictured. Made by Fibermold in Tulsa OK

Yamaha Brazil Introduces Flex Fuel YS250 Fazer BlueFlex

Yamaha unveiled a new version of its YS250 Fazer for the Brazilian market that runs on gasoline, ethanol fuel, or a  mixture of both. The new YS 250 Fazer BlueFlex is Yamaha’s first flex-fuel model, but the manufacturer says it plans to add more BlueFlex models in the future. Brazil is the world’s second largest ethanol fuel producer and the most successful biofuel-based economy.

Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
