Yamaha XS description

This bike started life as a boring, but fast, 1980 Yamaha XS850 Triple, but has transformed into a beautiful fully customized cafe racer. The odometer shows 10,862 miles and is believed to be original.

This is a one of a kind motorcycle. You will not see another one like it.

Custom Dodge Orange paint job (no scratches) with a custom black leather seat with orange stitching.

Rear end chopped to improve look.

Cafe racer style handle bars.

Motor was rebuilt approx three years ago. Shaft drive also rebuilt.

Hitachi triple carbs were cleaned and refurbished last year as well.

Bike runs great but it is 30+ years old and does have typical wear and tear. At this time the electric start is not working, and must use kick start to get it going. Another notable issue is the clutch slips a little bit, but is still rideable and not a major issue, maybe something to do in the winter. Clutch rebuild kit and Yahama gasket included in sale.

This bike is amazing and has a low seat height too for beginners. Bike turns heads and gets attention everywhere! You will love this classic motorcycle for running around town, or hitting the windy roads.

Honda has followed a similar strategy with its NC models, seeing the platform evolve to include the CTX700 and NM4.
