This is a very nice bike, in great shape, starts easy, first or second kick has electric start as well but will need repair, I just use the kick start.
Bike has nice metallic orange paint in good shape with one small chip on the tank. the engine does have an oil leak from the camshaft seals, it has never leaked enough to bother me into fixing it. The speedometer works but the odometer quit working last summer, I have only ridden it around town since then, probably no more than 300 miles. This has been a very reliable bike, has never left me stranded, gets lots of attention and thumbs up. only selling it to help pay for a family vacation. This bike is sold as-is and must be paid for within 4 days of auction end. If you have any questions feel free to ask. As a side note I will be travelling from Montana to New York in July and could possibly deliver the bike for a small fee to help cover fuel cost. |

New 2012 Yamaha Zuma 50F Four-Stroke Scooter Unveiled
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Yamaha unveiled the new 2012 Zuma 50F four-stroke scooter, the replacement for the two-stroke Zuma. The new 2012 Yamaha Zuma 50F is powered by a 49cc liquid-cooled fuel injected four-stroke engine, an update from the 2011 Zuma’s 49cc air-cooled carbureted two-stroke engine. According to Yamaha, the Zuma 50F claims an estimated 132 mpg compared to the two-stroke Zuma’s claimed 123 mpg.

The decision, while unfortunate, isn’t hard to understand, as racing at the highest levels isn’t cheap, and a factory involvement means added pressure to succeed, which ultimately means spending more money to do so. Through it all, however, Yamaha has remained involved with the sport, fielding factory teams and sponsoring various riding schools and even racetracks.
