1978 Yamaha XS 1100 Clear New York State Title, 2017 Registration, Plated and Insured. Everything has been chopped off this motorcycle, yet it still passed the NYS Inspection. Everything works to make the motorcycle street legal and it runs. If this is your first motorcycle, you may want to reconsider your other choices. This Yamaha has a rigid rear end with no shocks. However, I did install springs on the solo seat to absorb some of the impact. Shinko tires have about 1000 gentle miles on them. Seriously though, if you have never ridden a motorcycle before, this bike is too fast for you. No Reserve Auction. I will not ship this bike anywhere. Purchaser most arrange for pick up. MotoGP to Hold Official Test in Argentina; South American Nation Returning to Calendar for 2014
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Dorna Sports announced there will be a MotoGP test at Argentina’s Circuito Internacional Termas de Rio Hondo in July to allow teams to prepare for the track’s expected addition to the 2014 MotoGP calendar. Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.

Mon, 30 Sep 2013The 2013 AMA Pro Superbike has just wrapped up its season this past weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, with Josh Hayes dominating the race and his teammate, Josh Herrin, finishing second to clinch his first AMA Superbike championship. Not long after the checkered flag waved did Yamaha announce some big changes for the upcoming 2014 season. First and foremost, Herrin will be departing for Moto2 next year, fulfilling his desire to compete on the world stage.
Yamaha Opens New Motorcycle Testing Center
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Yamaha has completed construction of a new test course for developing motorcycles for emerging markets in Kikugawa, Japan. The 121-acre Yamaha Motor Kikukawa Test Course features a 1.18-mile circuit and a mix of multi-purpose roads and mountain terrain. It will be used to develop new motorcycles for Latin America and Asia.
