Yamaha XS description
Attention vintage motorcycle collectors, here ia a 1974 Yamaha XS500 project that has been sitting inside storage for ten years,i have a clear title, motor kicks over with good compression with the kicker on the right side of the motor, throttle is free, the carbs probably will need cleaning before the bike will run, brakes work but they drag on the rotors so they might have to be unbolted to push the bike around, clutch lever pulls in,tranni shifts threw the gears, needs a battery, there was a windjammer on the bike that is disposed of so the headlite is sitting on the bike for the pictures I grabbed off the shelf in the garage not sure if it will work for this bike, might be a nut or bolt missing here and there and or other everything I have for the bike is in the pictures, selling as is although I don't see any major repairs that the bike will need, might be some rust here and there, buyer will have to pay for shipping and locate there own shipper if one is needed I'm not sure there prices I have met with them several times very easy to work with usually uship.com,i can store the bike for one week after the auction ends if your not local, auction may end early because I might sell the bike before the auction ends, paypal or Walmart wire transfer accepted as payment if your not local,Thanks for looking and good luck bidding I'm located in Minnesota and the bike is in storage the zip code is 55304,Im always looking to buy old and or unwanted motorcycles and snowmobiles,Thanks Carl.
