Yamaha XS description
Ok, I hate to do this but I need a new dirt bike and selling this bike seems the only way I can afford it. I have a very nice 1971 Yamaha xs650 (XS-1)(kick start only). This bike is almost original with very few miles and very clean. Miles are not known for sure because the odometer stopped working at 2000 mis but the guy I got it from says he put less then 1000mis on it and he bought it from the original owner who claims the miles where close to accurate. The tank and side covers where professional repainted. The shock covers and headlamp are original paint. Everything is in terrific condition and runs very well. O took it on a 100 mi ride a few weeks ago. It does have a very small oil leak but nothing major, it is over 40yrs old. I am not a professional on XS650's but from my understanding its almost all original except for the handle bars, rear fender chopped, rear taillight, removed turn signals and the air filters where replaced with air pods. This bike was professional tuned and dialed this summer. It rides like a dream. Here is your chance to get a very sweet ride. Clean and clean title in hand. Only $4000 firm, NO TRADES! Our Magnificent seven
Wed, 16 Feb 2011Remember to dust your Union Jacks down if you happen to be visiting any Grand Prix this year as we have no less than seven youngsters to cheer on in the junior Moto GP classes. I don’t think we’ve ever had this many ‘yoofs’ in the GP paddock so let’s hope they can do the business and bring an end to our long drought of Grand Prix titles. And that could be soon as Scott Redding is already a hot favourite for the 2011 Moto 2 championship on his Marc VDS Suter machine.
AMA Supercross: 2012 Anaheim I Results
Mon, 09 Jan 2012Ryan Villopoto picked up where he left off while Ryan Dungey gave KTM its first ever AMA Supercross podium as the season kicked off in Anaheim, Calif. Reigning champion and Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Villopoto took the holeshot and led all 20 laps to win the Anaheim I season opener by over 12 seconds ahead of Chad Reed‘s TwoTwo Motorsports Honda. “Villopoto made us look silly out here tonight,” says Reed.
Bolt Headlines Returning 2015 Models From Star & Yamaha
Thu, 05 Jun 2014With all the excitement focused on the FZ-07′s stateside introduction, let us not forget these equally important models returning to Star’s and Yamaha’s 2015 lineup: the Bolt and Bolt R-Spec, the street-legal WR250R, XT250 and TW200, and the Blu Cru MXers; the 2-stroke YZ85/125/250, and 4-stroke YZ250F/450F. Bolt Like the FZ-09′s success, the Bolt is a smash hit for Star Motorcycles. So good, in fact, Star says the Bolt and Bolt R-Spec have been the best selling metric cruisers in all displacement sizes for the last 12 months ending in April of this year.
