2013 YAMAHA WR450F, This bike is in great condition. Has it's typical scuffs and scratches, but nothing bad. Traded into us with only 4 miles on it and now has under 900. All of which were put on by our shop owner on 2 Colorado trips. It currently has a 3.1 gallon tank on it, but also comes with the stock 1.9 gallon tank as well.YZ250F STYLE CHASSIS + 450 FI ENGINE = PERFECTION.The 2013 WR450F features a powerful and reliable, high-revving, five-titanium-valve engine with fuel injection, YZ250F-bred advanced aluminum frame, latest generation YZ forks and shock, and slim bodywork with updated headlight design gives the WR450F an aggressive, tough stance. Josh Hayes has won his second consecutive AMA Superbike title, clinching the championship in a tightly contested Race One at the 2011 season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The lead changed hands several times before Hayes emerged with the win, his third of the season. The Monster Energy Graves Yamaha R1 rider was consistent all season, finishing with three wins and 12 podium finishes in 14 races, and finishing fourth in the two times he missed the podium.

New AMA Pro SuperBike Final Qualifying Procedure To Be Implemented At Road America

AMA Pro Racing is taking a page out of the playbook of the top racing series’ in the world and changing the qualifying format for AMA Pro SuperBike and breaking it up into three stages. This new format will debut later this month when AMA Pro Road Racing takes to the 4.05-mile track at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., for the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader on May 30 – June 1, 2014. All AMA Pro SuperBike competitors will participate in Qualifying 1 and 2.

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
