Yamaha To Host A Full Slate Of Activities During Laguna Seca MotoGP Weekend July 19-21

If you’re going to be at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, July 19-21, be sure to stop by the Yamaha Marketplace, located between turns 5 and 6, as this will be the eighth consecutive year Yamaha and the raceway have worked together to bring race fans entertainment throughout the weekend. 2012 Yamaha TMax Scooter Unveiled At EICMA

Not one to rest on its laurels, Yamaha’s sportbike/scooter hybrid, the TMax, was unveiled earlier today at EICMA with a few important upgrades to keep it ahead of the competition. The most apparent change from the previous generation TMax is the redesigned bodywork, which boasts an even more aggressive look while maintaining the classic TMax looks. The distinctive double headlights, enhanced accent lines, and an upwards-swooping LED tail assembly all lend to highlight the TMax’s sporting nature.

New AMA Pro SuperBike Final Qualifying Procedure To Be Implemented At Road America

AMA Pro Racing is taking a page out of the playbook of the top racing series’ in the world and changing the qualifying format for AMA Pro SuperBike and breaking it up into three stages. This new format will debut later this month when AMA Pro Road Racing takes to the 4.05-mile track at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., for the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader on May 30 – June 1, 2014. All AMA Pro SuperBike competitors will participate in Qualifying 1 and 2.
