Yamaha WR description

2000 Yamaha WR400F, VIN #JYACH0434YA002300 Very nice strong running bike with low hours! Call 253-460-2749 or 360-621-8667 - Ground breaking four-stroke technology in a cross-country package for closed-course and enduro. So you're an enduro junkie. The type of person whose playground tends to be landscaped with rocks, sandwashes and wooded trails as opposed to tabletops and whoops. Good, because we've got just the right machine for you: the WR400F. Bred from the same gene pool as our four-stroke motocrosser, the WR has been fine-tuned to meet the special needs of the enduro/trail rider. Start with the five-valve, liquid-cooled thumper, tweaked for a broader, off-road-friendly powerband via a specially designed wide-ratio transmission. Hook it up to a YZ-spec chassis anchored by KYB suspension bits, add off-road-legal lighting front and back, a 3.2-gallon fuel tank, resettable tripmeter and an 18-inch rear wheel, and you're looking at an enduro machine with handling and range as responsive and effortless as its engine is mind-blowing.

Yamaha Patents Tricity Variant Design

Thu, 21 Aug 2014

Yamaha has patented the design for a new variant to its Tricity leaning three-wheeled scooter featuring a broader fairing resembling the TMax. Yamaha has previously announced it would introduce more leaning multi-wheeled vehicles, and this newly patented design may be the next one to go into production. The new design is heavily-based on the original Tricity.

NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.
