Product Description1995 YAMAHA WR250 I BOUGHT THIS WR AS A BACK UP BIKE FOR TRAIL RIDES. THE PRIOR OWNER TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF IT AND RODE A FEW TIMES A YEAR. I INSTALLED A NEW AIR CLEANER AND CHANGED THE OIL. I HAD THE COMPRESSION TESTED AND THE RESULT WAS 148. THE BIKE STARTS QUICKLY AND RUNS EXTREMELY WELL. I DECIDED TO SELL IT BECAUSE AFTER TEST RIDING IT IN AN OPEN AREA I FIND THAT IT IS MORE SUITED FOR THE RIDER THAT LIKES AND EVEN MIX OF TRACK AND TRAIL. I ONLY RIDE TRAILS WITH MY SON AND WILL NOT USE THIS BIKE TO IT'S FULL CAPACITY. Mon, 04 Mar 2013Ryan Villopoto captured his series-leading fourth win of the season in a red-flagged main event before a record crowd of 60,178 at St. Louis’ Edwards Jones Dome, as the 2013 AMA Supercross season reaches its midway point. The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.
2014 World Supersport Provisional Entry List
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Supersport Championship, with 23 riders including two to be announced at a later date. The provisional lists includes riders representing four different manufacturers: Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Yamaha. Honda is the most popular manufacturer with ten riders (though two are listed as TBA).
Motocross Pioneer Pierre Karsmakers Elected To AMA Motorcycle Hall Of Fame
Fri, 20 Jun 2014Pierre Karsmakers, one of the first European motocross champions to bring his expertise to America, has been elected to the AMA Motorcycle Hall Of Fame Class of 2014. A three-time motocross champion in his native Holland, Karsmakers came to the United States to gain wider exposure and attract the attention of the Japanese motorcycle makers. “All the Japanese (sponsorship) contracts were going to Belgian riders,” Karsmakers said.
