1995 YAMAHA WR250

I BOUGHT THIS WR AS A BACK UP BIKE FOR TRAIL RIDES. THE PRIOR OWNER TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF IT AND RODE A FEW TIMES A YEAR. I INSTALLED A NEW AIR CLEANER AND CHANGED THE OIL. I HAD THE COMPRESSION TESTED AND THE RESULT WAS 148. THE BIKE STARTS QUICKLY AND RUNS EXTREMELY WELL. I DECIDED TO SELL IT BECAUSE AFTER TEST RIDING IT IN AN OPEN AREA I FIND THAT IT IS MORE SUITED FOR THE RIDER THAT LIKES AND EVEN MIX OF TRACK AND TRAIL. I ONLY RIDE TRAILS WITH MY SON AND WILL NOT USE THIS BIKE TO IT'S FULL CAPACITY.

Yamaha Developing 250cc Sportbike for India in 2014

Yamaha has been rumored to be working on a 250cc sportbike for quite some time now. In fact, the other three members of the Japanese Big Four have launched new models in the small-displacement segment in recent years, but none of these new generation small-displacement bikes bear Yamaha‘s crossed tuning fork logo. That may change by 2014 however.

Yamaha Tops Second Day of Sepang Test as Honda Twiddles Thumbs

Ben Spies topped the time sheets ahead of teammate Jorge Lorenzo as Yamaha continued its MotoGP pre-season testing in Malaysia. While their rivals at Honda were idled by an engine problem, the two factory Yamaha riders found improvement on their Day One times and gathered data about riding in both wet and dry conditions. Spies set the best lap time at 2:01.285 while testing different chassis settings in the morning.
