For sale is a 1994 yamaha virago 535. It only has less than 14k original miles on it!!! Bike is in attractive condition for its age! I have put over a thousand dollars in upgrades into the bike since purchasing it from a 1 owner and cleaned it up. It rides smooth and Starts right up no problem, will need a carb cleaning though. Bike has brand new tires with less than a hundred miles on them. Brand new handle bars, grips, brake and clutch levers, blinkers, and custom license plate mount. I recently changed all fluids and put fresh plugs in it. I can deliver if needed locally. Will throw in a half and full face helmet as we'll if you need it. Great chopper/bobber. Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places
Fri, 28 Jun 2013Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.
Lorenzo Signs Two-Year Extension with Yamaha
Thu, 07 Aug 2014Two-time MotoGP Champion Jorge Lorenzo has signed a contract extension with Yamaha to see him race on the company’s factory team through the 2016 season. The signing comes as no real surprise, following similar two-year contract extensions for teammate Valentino Rossi and Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa. Ducati also confirmed it would field Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone next season, so unless Lorenzo wanted to spend a season or two developing Suzuki‘s or Aprilia‘s new prototypes, Lorenzo’s only option for a factory ride was to re-sign with Yamaha.
