1996 Yamaha Virago 1100, 1996 Yamaha XV1100 Virago in excellent condition, 6,430 miles, $3,000 custom parts added, Cobra pipes with Cobra jets kit installed, Mustang seat, Mustang passenger backrest, Jardine forward controls, Willie and Max saddlebags and tool pouch, Memphis Shade windshield, Jardine luggage rack, pullback handlebars, pullback risers, 6 over stock front fork tubes(Forks by Frank), K&N air filter, and more. In March I changed the oil and filter plus installed new Sears Diehard sealed battery. Last month I removed the carbs. and cleaned both thoroughly plus clean both fuel tanks and sealed them with an polymer, also installed new factory gas filter at same time. Installed new spark plugs last week. Valves were adjusted approx. 500 miles ago. The bike has always been stored in my basement and covered. Looks like a brand new bike on showroom floor. Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.

Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.
