1996 Yamaha Virago 1100, 1996 Yamaha XV1100 Virago in excellent condition, 6,430 miles, $3,000 custom parts added, Cobra pipes with Cobra jets kit installed, Mustang seat, Mustang passenger backrest, Jardine forward controls, Willie and Max saddlebags and tool pouch, Memphis Shade windshield, Jardine luggage rack, pullback handlebars, pullback risers, 6 over stock front fork tubes(Forks by Frank), K&N air filter, and more. In March I changed the oil and filter plus installed new Sears Diehard sealed battery. Last month I removed the carbs. and cleaned both thoroughly plus clean both fuel tanks and sealed them with an polymer, also installed new factory gas filter at same time. Installed new spark plugs last week. Valves were adjusted approx. 500 miles ago. The bike has always been stored in my basement and covered. Looks like a brand new bike on showroom floor. Lorenzo Leads Sepang Test Day 1; Spies Fourth on 1000cc Yamaha M1

Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo topped all riders with a top lap time of 2:01.657 on the first day of pre-season MotoGP testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. With reigning World Champion Casey Stoner ailing and unable to ride, Lorenzo produced the top time as the only racer to lap Sepang in under 2 minutes 2 seconds. Riding the 1000cc Yamaha YZR-M1, Lorenzo topped second-ranked Dani Pedrosa and his Honda RC213V by 0.343 seconds.

The 2013 AMA Pro Superbike has just wrapped up its season this past weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, with Josh Hayes dominating the race and his teammate, Josh Herrin, finishing second to clinch his first AMA Superbike championship. Not long after the checkered flag waved did Yamaha announce some big changes for the upcoming 2014 season. First and foremost, Herrin will be departing for Moto2 next year, fulfilling his desire to compete on the world stage.

Haga Signs with Swan Yamaha to Race in 2012 British Superbike Championship

Noriyuki Haga is headed for the British Superbike Championship after signing on with the Swan Yamaha team to replace the injured Ian Hutchinson. Haga had been a mainstay on the World Superbike circuit for over a decade but after being unable to find a team for this season, the 36-year-old veteran will be plying his trade in the U.K. Haga will ride the Yamaha R1 alongside teammate and defending BSB Champion Tommy Hill.
