Yamaha Virago description

I have owned this bike for 2 years and 2 months now, I have ridden it on averrage 4 days a week year round. The bike holds strong even with her age, because her previous owner and I have taken close care of her. The Saddle bags are custom installed with blinkers on both bags. The bike comes with wind shield, the original rear fender lights, original, locks, spare rear tire & break system. Other new parts installed including a new Voltage regulator, head gasket, replacement rear wheel with breaks, new ignition gas tank cap, headlight lamp. The Virago's size makes her perfect for anyone just starting out and the large bags means rain gear/cover and emergancy gear can be stored onboard.

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.

Authorities in British Columbia, Canada, have impounded a 2006 Yamaha R1 believed to have starred in a YouTube video reaching speeds of 299 kph (185 mph) on a freeway. The onboard video, embedded after the jump, captures the Yamaha weaving through traffic, and often lane-splitting between other vehicles, covering a 4.67 mile stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway in about a minute and 56 seconds. That translates to an average speed of 144.6 mph.
