Yamaha Virago tech info
Yamaha Virago description
1993 Yamaha Virago Bobber. 535cc. Awesome looking bike. Lots of custom work. Additional pictures and videos of it running are available so please message me if you are interested. This bike looks and sounds awesome. What you see is what you get. It runs and rides well. Has been dyno tuned after reworking the custom-built intake and tuning the S&S carb. You don't see bobbers like this around often.
It does have some minor cosmetic and mechanical issues easily fixed by anyone who is even the slightest bit mechanically inclined. The bike does have some paint missing on the engine case from fuel being spilled on it and a small knick on the rear fender from the seat touching on large bumps in the road. Simply repaint those spots and its as good as new. It does need a new fuel hose clamp on the output line to stop it from leaking and to make sure it runs well. The inside of the tank could use to be cleaned as well although it does run fine as is now. Clean title in hand. Sold as is. Moving and can't take all my bikes with me. Shipping can easily be arranged via UShip.com. |

AMA Superbike: 2012 Daytona Results
Tue, 20 Mar 2012Josh Hayes and Blake Young picked things up where they left off by trading wins at the 2012 season-opening AMA Superbike round at Daytona International Speedway. Reigning champion Hayes of Monster Energy Graves Yamaha took the first race handily, leading almost right from the start of the 15-lap race for the win. Yoshimura Suzuki’s Young, who finished second to Hayes in the 2011 AMA Superbike Championship, responded by taking the second race, but only by a slim 0.002-second margin.

You. Call. That. Lean
Fri, 14 May 2010Jean Philippe Ruggia, 1988, Coppice at Donington Park, Sonauto-Yamaha 250. This is elbow lean action. There was a previous blog entry of Ben Spies and his elbow grazing the tarmac onboard the M1 Yamaha, I admit it is impressive but I find myself admiring the horizontal angles that Ruggia submitted his 250 Yamaha to, with the above image taken at Coppice as a prime example.
