I am selling my 1992 Yamaha Virago 750.Clear title in hand.18900mis on it. (extremely low miles for its age)Carbs were just rebuilt and resynced less than 50mis ago.New starter less than 50mis ago.New Battery purchased less than a month ago.After market slip on exhaust, still have original that goes with it.After market straight handlebars, still have original.Mustang sissy bar, still have original.Tires have 50% tread on front and back.Chrome could use a polishing. Little bit of rust spot here and there. (or i would be selling for more)This bike is loud proud and full of life.I purchased as barn score a couple months ago for rebuilding.It hasnt been registered since 2008.It will need registered. Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba
Fri, 24 Jun 2011This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.

Reigning champion and Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Villopoto took the holeshot and led all 20 laps to win the Anaheim I season opener by over 12 seconds ahead of Chad Reed‘s TwoTwo Motorsports Honda. “Villopoto made us look silly out here tonight,” says Reed.
