I am selling my 1992 Yamaha Virago 750.Clear title in hand.18900mis on it. (extremely low miles for its age)Carbs were just rebuilt and resynced less than 50mis ago.New starter less than 50mis ago.New Battery purchased less than a month ago.After market slip on exhaust, still have original that goes with it.After market straight handlebars, still have original.Mustang sissy bar, still have original.Tires have 50% tread on front and back.Chrome could use a polishing. Little bit of rust spot here and there. (or i would be selling for more)This bike is loud proud and full of life.I purchased as barn score a couple months ago for rebuilding.It hasnt been registered since 2008.It will need registered. Colin Edwards’ Gear Being Auctioned For Feed The Children
Tue, 29 Jul 2014While Colin Edwards may no longer be a factory Yamaha racer these days, he still enjoys a close bond with the tuning fork brand. So much so that Yamaha has announced a unique opportunity to bid on a historic set of road racing leathers, boots, gloves, and helmet as worn by Edwards during this, his final season in MotoGP. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children, which is Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official corporate charity.

Thu, 02 May 2013The economic downturn hit the motorcycle world particularly hard, as many factory-backed road racing efforts closed shop. The decision, while unfortunate, isn’t hard to understand, as racing at the highest levels isn’t cheap, and a factory involvement means added pressure to succeed, which ultimately means spending more money to do so. Through it all, however, Yamaha has remained involved with the sport, fielding factory teams and sponsoring various riding schools and even racetracks.
2013 AMA Daytona 200 Race Report
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Cameron Beaubier led a parade of Yamaha YZF-R6 racebikes to win the 72nd running of the famed Daytona 200. The Yamaha Extended Service Graves Yamaha rider started from pole position and led for 50 of 57 laps before winning by a 22.254-second margin. Behind Beaubier were four other R6 riders including his teammate Garret Gerloff who finished second.
