1992 Yamaha Virago on 2040-motos
Yamaha Virago tech info
Yamaha Virago description
I bought this recently and my wife is very upset with me.
Unfortunately I do not have time to go through the bike before I sell it.
All I was told was it needs a new battery. That I can confirm. Other than that, I do not know much about it. There is no oil or gas in it so that might be a good sign. Cosmetically, it looks really good but certainly not perfect. Missing a side battery cover. needs a turn signal mount, chrome polished, cleaned up, etc. Clear Maryland title. Will consider delivery or Freight shipping but please contact me before attempting to purchase. Being sold AS IS with not guarantee, warranty or refund available. |

Snow riding and my new LC
Mon, 21 Jan 2013I reckon the only thing to do when the snow comes is to get on a bike and my weapon of choice is usually a Yamaha TTR 125. I’ve had TTRs in the garage now for around eight years after Raceways Yamaha in Fleetwood put some on offer for just £900 and apart from a few broken spokes and worn out gearbox sprockets they have been indestructible. One of the two has an electric start and incredibly starts as easily as the day I took delivery.
Bazzer at Oulton by Niall Mac
Tue, 28 Sep 2010There is no question that the BSB paddock has been split over the radical new points scoring system introduced for 2010. That said, no one can argue that the formula hasn't worked as we are in for the most exciting season end at the Oulton Park triple header on the 9th/10th of October. There may only be six riders in the final shoot out but there are at least another six that can win races, ultimately spoiling the party for the championship hopefuls.
Supe up the Super Ténéré
Mon, 20 Sep 2010Remus are offering a slip-on exhaust for the 2010 Yamaha Super Ténéré. The new Super Ten exhaust from Remus comes in two options, the stainless steel hexacone retails at £370 and offers 1.6kg of weight saved on the stock OEM exhaust with a power increase of 7.5bhp. The second choice for the Yamaha's big adventure bike is the lighter titanium hexacone, the can offers the same increase in power but saves 1.81kg in weight.
