Yamaha V Star description

2006 Yamaha V Star 1100 Silverado, Low mile one owner bike. Serviced and ready to go.The V-Star 1100 Silverado. It's a classic, booming, big torque cruiser with a little something extra.

Start with an air-cooled V-twin for effortless cruising, a 17-litre tank for all-day junkets, full rider floorboards, and much more. But when you add an adjustable windshield, a studded backrest, studded seats and leather side bags, and you're all set to roll for the long haul. With an extra-long wheelbase, you can really stretch out -- just like the road in front of you.

The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others.
