Yamaha V Star description

Up for auction is a beautiful condition 2008 Yamaha V Star 1100. This bike has been very well maintained, with lots of upgrades. Silverado package includes windshield, soft leather saddle bags and wide seats. Added were Cobra pipes, triple beam lights, passenger floor boards and chrome upgrades. Mileage is only 4300, with maintenance done every season. I do not have the stock pipes, but the Cobra's sound very nice on the 1100. I also put cruise control and bag on windshield. I will throw in half shell helmet size L and bike cover! bike has been garage kept, never down. we have a baby on the way & need to sell, for extra money.
local pick up only!
selling as is!
muffler is turning blue by engine, not bad. minor scratches hardly noticeable from normal riding.
ready to ride!!!

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Today, Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, has announced its U.S. road racing teams to compete in the 2013 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Racing season, which kicks off in March at the famed Daytona International Speedway.  Superbike In the AMA Pro National Guard Superbike division, Yamaha is fielding “Team Josh,” as three-time and defending class champion, Josh Hayes once again teams up with Josh Herrin, the 2012 AMA Rookie of the Year. Despite setting single-season records for the most SuperBike wins, the most consecutive SuperBike wins, and the most SuperBike poles, the elder Josh hasn’t lost any of his competitive fire. During the off-season, Josh signed a two-year contract to stay with Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha because he loves the team and he still feels that he’s got a lot of unfinished business to attend to.

Stoner to Miss Brno for Surgery – Title Defence Likely Over

Thu, 23 Aug 2012

Casey Stoner has withdrawn from the Brno, Czech Republic MotoGP round to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Trailing Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo by 39 points and Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa by 21 points with seven rounds to go, Stoner’s hopes of repeating as MotoGP champion before retiring at the end of the season are all but dashed. The Repsol Honda rider injured his ankle in a high side crash in last weekend’s Indianapolis Grand Prix.

Hipsters: How not to live your life

I have to start this piece by stating that I'm not from London. I may work here but I grew up in a remote North Western market town where people were (rightly) suspicious of anything or anybody new. Back to London.
