 I have a 2008 vstar 1300 in near new condition. Only 3800 easy miles. Lots of accessories, rear rack and sissy bar, big highway bars with kuryakyn pegs, slipstreamer windshield and lowers. kand n filter. tires are in good shape, these bikes cruise effortlessly down  the road with fuel injection, belt drive, yamahas only water cooled cruiser. the bike needs nothing it is ready to get on and ride. I am in northern montana, not much time to ride. This bike is very well balanced and easy to ride.

Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.

I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.

Around here, it’s no secret we’re fans of the Yamaha FZ-09 (MT-09 for those reading this outside the U.S.). It’s a great do-it-all motorcycle, and for $7990 it’s a great value, too. Apparently, Mark Toia is well aware of how useful the FZ-09 can be as well.

46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
