Yamaha V Star tech info
Yamaha V Star description
Up for bid is my 2005 Yamaha VStar 1100. I don't ride as much as I used to unfortunately. The bike is in absolutely fantastic condition. Never been dropped and does not have any scratches on it. I have never taken the bike out in the rain and it has been winterized every single year. The bike has the following attachments: CB Radio Windshield Passenger seat and seatback Side bags Front bag Auxiliary cable to charge phone/gps Garmin GPS Unit I also have custom grips and pedals on the bike, as well as custom intake jets and a Cobra exhaust. All of the work on the bike was done at the Yamaha dealership and all services have been done by the dealer as well. Tires and brakes are in very good condition, and there are no defects at all with the bike mechanically. Besides one of the lenses on the rear turn signal missing that does not affect the signal at all, the bike is aesthetically perfect. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. NO RESERVE! Bike is priced to sell. Happy Bidding! |

The perfect classified advert
Fri, 21 Jun 2013Forget “One careful owner, low mileage, full service history” – when it comes to penning classifieds we can all learn from Kyle Miller and Joe Strachila who’ve plundered their marketing genius to come up with the best scooter advert we’ve ever seen. The pair, from Seattle, became an internet sensation last year when they created a hyperbole-packed ad for $700-worth of frankly rubbish 1995 Pontiac Grand-Am. Now they’ve pulled the same trick to get rid of a Y2K Yamaha SH50 (the comically-named ‘Razz’), advertising it on Cragslist as “the fulfilment of your wildest fantasies”.
