Good shape 42000 mis. Windshield, front floor boards, new rear floor boards, new brakes, root beer and black paint. New $230 LED lighting kit, ten light strips, fifteen colors with remote. Air breather is LED lit with nine different colors. Front tire is in terrific shape rear was replaced today. This bike runs well and gets lots of complements. Took 2nd place in lighting comp at Blowouts during bike week.The price is $2700 and that is firm. Paid $3700 at Texas Yamaha 2 mons ago. Lighting and brakes done since then. Also rear foot boards added after pictures were taken. Replaced rear tire and had oil changed today. This bike will be available for sale on Monday. Japan Needs Your Help

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.

Yamaha Offers VIP Package for US Grand Prix at Laguna Seca

Yamaha and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca are offering a special VIP ticket package for the 2012 U.S. Grand Prix for fans 0f the Japanese manufacturer. The Yamaha VIP package includes a three-day general admission ticket for the July 27-29 event to catch the MotoGP and AMA Pro Racing action.

Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
