2003 Yamaha V Star 650 CLASSIC, Custom 2003 V Star 650 Classic, 16,000 miles. 2 owner, garage kept, never laid down or dropped. I purchased the bike stock and have put over $3k in customizations and upgrades, including but not limited to: custom 7 layer candy paint with true fire, skulls, marbling and chrome dust by Robbie Norris Custom Paint (lifetime warranty), Headwinds headlamp housing and bulb and bullet turn signals, orange crocodile seat inlay, chrome Kuryakyn EVERYTHING (tombstone taillight and bullet signals, side mount license plate, grips, rear fender tip, covers: boomerang, swing arm, caliper, pedals and shifter, drive shaft, rear break reservoir, etc). Last serviced 3/2013, NC inspected 8/2013. The bike sits low to the ground, is easy to maneuver and handle and runs like a dream! If the seat isn't for you, I will help reupholster to black. Fri, 05 Jul 2013Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.

Wed, 03 Aug 2011A drop in net sales, an appreciating yen and the fallout from the March 11 earthquake and tsunamis in Japan contributed to a 4.6% drop in profit for Yamaha Motor Co. over the second quarter of 2011. Over the quarter ended June 30, 2011, Yamaha saw a 5.9% drop in net sales compared to the same period in 2010.Yamaha reports sales of 344.5 billion yen (US$4.48 billion) over the second quarter, compared to the 366.3 billion yen (US$4.77 billion) reported in the same quarter in 2010.
WSBK: 2011 Utah Results
Tue, 31 May 2011Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
