Yamaha V Star description

I am selling my 1998 Yamaha VSTAR 650 including windshield and saddlebags. Bike has recently received a new rear-break, a new rear light-bar and a new horn (USD 600.00 for the job at a Yamaha dealership). She has 27500 miles on the odometer. Never been laid, never had an accident. She has some wear and tear which is normal for a bike of her age, however, she is still a beauty.
This bike is the perfect bike for beginners / new riders. She forgives a lot of mistakes and is amazingly stable.
She needs to go as I am moving and she can't follow.  I am very sad that I need to sell her and hope that she finds some nice rider who treat her right.

Thu, 12 Feb 2009

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
