Yamaha V Max description

Listed for Highest Bid is a Beautiful 2004 Yamaha VMax Sportbike with less than 2400 miles. The Vmax is well known as a performance bike for experienced riders. This bike has been in my personal collection for about 6 years and has always been garage kept in a climate controlled environment. This bike is in excellent condition. It's 1200 cc  V4 / 5speed/ Shaft Drive powertrain Runs and Drives flawlessly. It's a very smooth FAST ride. The bike is completely stock with the exception of the header exhaust system , a carb jet kit,  a SpitFire windshield and Passenger backrest. Tires are original on this bike and it has been serviced on a regular basis.  A new Yuasa battery was recently installed. Despite the low mileage on this bike it has been ridden on a regular basis to keep all the seals lubricated and the carbs clean. This bike starts and idles perfectly and has Zero hesitation when you twist the throttle.
Only reason I am selling this beauty is that I am getting older and find I ride the Cruiser bikes much more than this superbike. I do have a Reserve price set but it is lower than you might think. So Bid away.  Don't pass up a chance to own a Classic Powerhouse of a bike.
Please forward any questions you  have. I can send more pictures by request. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. I can assist your designated shipper.  $500 deposit via Paypal required within 24hrs. of end of the Auction.  Balance due within 7 days. Cash or Certified Check only. All checks must clear original financial institution before the bike will be released for shipment.
I do Reserve the Option to End this Auction early due to the bike being offered for sale locally.
Happy Bidding

No snow here folks!

Fri, 31 Dec 2010

An erratic work schedule combined with a full season of kids racing means, there aren’t many opportunities during the summer months for the Mackenzie family to grab a holiday. Instead, we tend to save our pennies and head off somewhere sunny for Christmas. I love doing this as it shortens the UK winter but more importantly it means I miss the festive frenzy.  I do like Christmas, but I hate how everyone gets caught up in the retail madness that kicks off just before Halloween, then has everyone stressed (and skint)before Santa has even hitched up his sleigh.

The California Air Resources Board today released executive orders on two Yamaha models: the FJ09FCGY and FJ09FCR. Both to be based on the current FZ-09 engine and chassis (MT-09 in Europe). In March of this year, MO’s resident sleuth, Dennis Chung, revealed Yamaha filed a trademark application for the FJ09 name.
