This outstanding 1990 Yamaha V Max 1200 has just been professionally serviced, tuned and detailed (including new battery, full carburetion system rebuild, clutch and brake system overhauls; more than $1,600 in receipts) after having recently emerged from being in storage for the past fifteen years. The motorcycle is truly an amazing "time capsule" example of raw street power and muscle. The bike is completely stock and in original factory configuration and tune. Recall for 2009-2011 Yamaha V-Max
Fri, 30 Sep 2011Yamaha is issuing a recall campaign on certain 2009-2011 V-Max power cruisers due to a potential risk of oil pump malfunction. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, abnormally high oil pressure can build up within the oil pump of certain Yamaha V-Max models. The high pressure may force the washer on the oil pump shaft against the oil pump housing, causing oil to stop pumping through the engine.

Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings.
