I have a very nice 1985 Yamaha Vmax. It has custom synergy green paint job. Motor has been painted and polished, front end has been painted and polished,swing arm has been painted. It has a UFO exhaust system with custom supertrapp ends, k&n air filter lid, new fork seals, new progressive fork springs,new progressive rear shocks,clear turn signals and taillight, late model wheels that have been polished, and new metzler tires. Carbs. have been jetted with Morley Muscle jet kit, solid motor mounts, Barnett clutch, chrome radiator cover, adjustable Vboost controller. $4,800, local pick up only, Powell, Tennessee. Yamaha Gets Monster Energy MotoGP Team Sponsorship, Annuls Lorenzo’s RockStar Sponsorship Deal
Fri, 21 Dec 2012Yamaha has reportedly signed energy drink maker Monster Energy to sponsor its factory MotoGP team, according to Spanish site MotoCuatro.com. The new sponsorship deal created a bit of a problem however, as Yamaha‘s star rider Jorge Lorenzo recently signed a two-year contact extension to his personal sponsorship deal with RockStar, a rival energy drink maker. To get around this sticky situation, MotoCuatro reports Yamaha will invoke a clause in Lorenzo’s contract allowing the manufacturer to veto and buy out his RockStar contract.

More specifically, the brake shoe linings may separate from the shoe due to a lack of proper adhesion, reducing brake performance and increasing the risk of a crash. The problem can affect both the front and rear drum brakes.
Yamaha to Cut Motorcycle Production in 2009
Thu, 26 Feb 2009With mounting inventories coupled with a drop in demand, Yamaha will be cutting its motorcycle production in Japan by 24 percent this year or to about 260,000 total units; one newspaper reported this would be a 40-year low for the manufacture. Yamaha plans to cut production for motorcycles and other products by 30 percent in the Americas, 20 percent in Europe but will maintain production levels in Asia where demand has not dropped off. The company is forecasting its group sales to fall 22 percent with an operating loss of about $300 million.
