2004 Yamaha TTR225 four stroke with electric start. 2nd owner, bought to ride with son's pw80. Boy is now 16 yrs old and 6ft 2. Has not been ridden in over 3 years. Low low hours, very clean, runs great. All original with original tires. Just spent $330.00 to rebuild car and new battery. Carb just rebuilt from sitting so long. New battery. Title in hand. Retirement is rife but thankfully not for Vale

Unfortunately retirement seems to be popular right now so with major names leaving BSB, WSB and Moto GP things will never quite be the same. I’m still in shock that Casey Stoner has decided to head back home for a spot of fishing.

Fri, 31 Dec 2010An erratic work schedule combined with a full season of kids racing means, there aren’t many opportunities during the summer months for the Mackenzie family to grab a holiday. Instead, we tend to save our pennies and head off somewhere sunny for Christmas. I love doing this as it shortens the UK winter but more importantly it means I miss the festive frenzy. I do like Christmas, but I hate how everyone gets caught up in the retail madness that kicks off just before Halloween, then has everyone stressed (and skint)before Santa has even hitched up his sleigh.
Motocross Pioneer Pierre Karsmakers Elected To AMA Motorcycle Hall Of Fame
Fri, 20 Jun 2014Pierre Karsmakers, one of the first European motocross champions to bring his expertise to America, has been elected to the AMA Motorcycle Hall Of Fame Class of 2014. A three-time motocross champion in his native Holland, Karsmakers came to the United States to gain wider exposure and attract the attention of the Japanese motorcycle makers. “All the Japanese (sponsorship) contracts were going to Belgian riders,” Karsmakers said.
