TypeType:TTR 125 with BBR 150 Kit For Sale ByFor Sale By:Owner VINVIN:JYACE07Y83A056448

Yamaha TT description

This is a very tricked out TTR125 done by Del Amo Motorsports and raced by them for one year and by me for two years.  It has been sitting idle in the garage for the last couple of years and needs to moved on to somebody that can go play with it.

This is the list of extras from Del Amo

BBR 150 Big Bore Kit

BBR Performance cam

BBR 26 mm Keihin carb

Ported and polished cylinder head by Engines Only

Yoshimura full exhaust with titanium pipe

24 oz shaved from flywheel

Air box removed  for pod style air filter

TAG upper and lower triple clamps

Aero tapered handlebars

Brembo master cylinder

YZ 85 inverted forks with Race Tech Gold Valves and lowered 1 1/2"

YZ85 Swingarm

YZ85 Complete rear suspension

Acerbis Hand Guards

YZ85 rear hub powdered coated black

YZ450 front hub powder coated black

Braking wave rear rotor

Excell 2.5 and 3.5 17" rims

The Bridgestone rains that are on there now are shot but there is an unwrapped set of Bridgestone slicks that come with the bike.

The bike is smoking fast for a 150, has incredible suspension and handles like a dream.  Absolutely rails through the turns as evidenced by the burned off rain tires.

When Del Amo was selling this bike they had it listed at $7,600.  That is how much they had into it.  Well several years later and you can have the same hot setup for a fraction of that cost.

If you are not interested in Supermoto, a quick swap of wheels will give you an incredible MX play bike.  The TTR is great dirt fun, this set up is 10 notches above that.

 come with the bike.

R1 noise, bike porn and a quick lap

Tue, 24 Apr 2012

Trawling the internet for a sound clip of the Crossplane Crank Yamaha R1 on full chatter, I came across this: a few fast laps on board with New Zealand Superbike racer Tony Rees as he works the CABS Throttle Blipper on his 2011 R1. (Skip to 7:35 for the fast ones.) CABS is a system used by Superbike teams that makes use of the R1’s digitally controlled throttle. When you change up a gear, the bike blips in the perfect amount of revs to save time on track and make downshifts as quick and easy as clutch-less upshifts.

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

This brand new, unregistered, never-even-been-fired-up Yamaha RZ500N has been revealed in the warehouse of a motorcycle dealer in Australia. We know it was the RD500LC but over in Australia (and Canada) it was called the RZ500N. It comes exactly as it arrived from Japan, with two keys, the service manual, mirrors etc.
