Yamaha TT description

2013 Yamaha TT-R50E, Inventory Reduction Sale - For the younger, smaller off-road fanatics in your family, look no further than the user-friendly TT-R50E. The 50 cc four-stroke engine feeds power through a three-speed semi-automatic transmission, great for learning and playing. Its got the style of a big YZ, but low enough for the little ones to climb aboard with a seat thats only 555 mm (21.9 in.) above the ground. Once theyre going, youll be glad to know, the TT-R50E is equipped with powerful drum brakes for dependable stopping power and a speed limiter screw. Like all Yamahas, TT-Rs are packed full of leading-edge engineering and stand up to our stringent standards for reliability. Theyre built to last. The only thing we cant do is stop your little ones from out growing them! But weve got their next Yamaha waiting when that happens.

This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

If you’re into motorcycles, big, puppy dog eyes, dramatic Japanese dialogue with English subtitles, and subliminal Yamaha references then check out Master of Torque, Yamaha’s original anime series. The final installment in the three-part series is set to release tomorrow. Set in Tokyo, Japan in the year 2017, three years before the city’s hosting of the 2020 Olympic Games, the show focuses on the exploits of three young motorcyclists and highlights Yamaha’s FZ-09 and FZ-07.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Yamaha MT-07 And MT-09 Street Rally

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Yamaha teased us with the “Rise Up Your Darkness” campaign, first introducing the FZ-09 (called the MT-09 in Europe) and its three-cylinder engine packaged in a naked frame. Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.
