AIMExpo Celebrates Its 300th Vendor

With the signing of B&W Trailer Hitches the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has committed 300 exhibitors to its inaugural event this October in Orlando, Fla. “To think that just three weeks ago we were announcing our 250th exhibitor and to now be at a point where 50 more brands have committed to the expo is absolutely remarkable,” says Larry Little, VP and GM of the Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group. In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. AMA Superbike Racer Larry Pegram To Race On Four Wheels This Weekend

Foremost Insurance/Pegram Racing SuperBike rider Larry Pegram will be back in racing action this weekend but, instead of being aboard his familiar #72 Yamaha YZF-R1 SuperBike, Larry will be behind the wheel of a PRO Buggy sponsored by RealTree Outdoor Energy Drink. The PRO Buggy class features rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive, purpose-built racing buggies with lots of suspension travel and lots of horsepower. Pegram is no stranger to car racing, having done a few road racing events last year, but he’s excited about the opportunity to kick up some mud this weekend at RedBud MX in Buchanan, MI, as part of The Off-Road Championship (TORC) series.
