The Yamaha Champions Riding School has helped countless riders, myself included, improve their skills to become both faster and safer. Whether you’re a street rider or track junky, novice or pro, as rider we should always be looking to improve. While attending the Yamaha Champions Riding School at its new location at New Jersey Motorsports Park would be ideal, for those of you who can’t make the trek, YCRS has an entire YouTube channel dedicated to making everyone better riders.

Yamaha Star Bolt Café Photos from Tokyo Motor Show

We received some positive feedback on our Google+ page when we first wrote about Yamaha‘s Star Bolt Café prototype, so we thought we’d share some new photos Yamaha released from the Tokyo Motor Show. Yamaha has made it clear the Bolt Café is only a reference model to showcase the customization potential of the Bolt. At its heart remains the Bolt’s 942cc V-Twin engine and double-cradle frame.

Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.

I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.
