The 49 cubic centimeter four-stroke engine feeds power through a three-speed semi-automatic transmission, great for learning and playing. It's got the style of a big YZ, but low enough for the little guys to climb aboard with a seat that's only 555 millimeters (21.9 inches) above the ground. Once they're going, you'll be glad to know, the TT-R50E is equipped with front and rear drum brakes to deliver strong, dependable stopping power. Yamaha Outlines 2013-2015 Business Plan
Tue, 18 Dec 2012Yamaha Motor Co. revealed what it calls its New Medium-term Management Plan, outlining its business strategies for 2013 to 2015, including the introduction of 250 new models worldwide across its various product lines including motorcycles. The three-year plan is an extension of Yamaha‘s plan for 2010-2012 which targets a “V-shaped recovery”.
Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame Announces 2013 Induction Class

The Hall also announced it will add one new member to its Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame. For 2013, the Hall will welcome to its ranks motorcycle attorney Russ Brown, custom chopper builder Rick Fairless (pictured above), Harley-Davidson dealer Bill Gikling, actor Marjoe Gortner of the television special “Sturgis: The Great Ride”, and antique motorcycle expert Lonnie Isam, Sr.
