Yamaha TT description

 Offered for sale is my Yamaha TT500. I believe from the serial number it is a Model TT500D built in 1977. Actual mileage is unknown. The bike has been restored to street legal status and I would describe the condition as very good. Below is a list of the work I or a shop performed on this bike.

New carburetor Sudco
Cylinder honed and new piston rings installed.
New valve springs New valve guide seals.
Valves and valve seats - professional 3-angle regrind
New gaskets including head gasket valve cover etc.
Piston and bottom end inspected and proved within new specs Fresh tune-up with new parts.
Fresh oil and oil filter.
Custom exhaust pipe with SuperTrapp style megaphone.
Ignition coils both primary and secondary replaced.
Lighting coil converted from 6 volt to 12 volt
New voltage regulator & Battery, 12 v headlight, taillight/ brake light/brake light switch, turn signals and flasher unit, and horn.
Handlebar switches for new electrics.
New paint on frame and tank.
Nickel plated kick start and gear shifter.
New fork gaiters.
New upholstery on seat

2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Certified by California Air Resources Board

Although Yamaha has yet to announce the FZ-07 for American consumption, new documents from the California Air Resources Board lead us to believe it’s on its way to U.S. dealers. The FZ-07 was first revealed last fall at EICMA as the MT-07, which is the name it is being sold under in Europe, Japan and other markets.

Ben Spies Retires from Motorcycle Racing

Ben Spies announced his retirement from motorcycle racing, as injuries cut short a once promising career for the American. Spies retires with a World Superbike title in his first and only season in the series, and three AMA Superbike Championships. “I want to thank everyone from racing organizations, factories, teams and all my fans for helping me and supporting me throughout my career,” says Spies.
